About TutorABC

TutorABC provides online language programmes for learners with different educational and professional needs. Before comparing courses, identify what you want to achieve: more confidence in conversation, clearer workplace communication, stronger school-language skills, or preparation for an examination. A specific goal helps you assess whether a programme’s content is relevant to your needs.

Its English selection includes general communication and business-focused courses, alongside exam preparation. For workplace learning, consider the situations in which you need English, such as meetings, presentations, or speaking with clients. For an exam-focused course, check that the syllabus addresses your chosen examination and leaves enough time for practice before your test date.

Chinese programmes include everyday language learning and preparation options for examinations such as HSK and TOCFL. Review the course level and intended audience before enrolling, particularly if you are starting from the beginning. Ask how the programme develops speaking, listening, reading, and writing so you can match it to your priorities.

TutorABC also lists junior programmes separately from adult courses. Parents should review the age guidance, lesson structure, and expected practice outside class rather than choosing only by price. Discuss the child’s current ability and attention span with the provider to understand which available programme may be suitable.

Learning formats include one-to-one sessions, group sessions, and Master Classes, although the options included depend on the selected programme. Compare how much individual speaking time and teacher feedback each format provides. TutorABC states that choosing a particular instructor is possible with certain one-to-one booking options, so confirm that feature if teacher continuity matters to you.

Some course packages list resources such as teacher reports, recordings, homework, and review materials. Check which resources are included in your proposed plan and how you can access them. Planning time to review lessons between live sessions can help you make fuller use of the programme you purchase.

Before enrolling, request a clear explanation of the lesson allowance, course validity, booking rules, and billing arrangements. If a trial is available, use it to assess the teaching format and your device setup, while checking when any paid commitment begins. Read the applicable cancellation and refund terms rather than assuming that unused sessions can always be refunded or carried forward.
